We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide the app's features:

• Anonymous user identifier: When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account via Firebase Authentication. No email address, phone number, or personal information is required.
• Display name: You choose a display name (nickname) which is stored to identify you in league leaderboards. This name is visible to other members of leagues you join.
• Game picks: Your weekly NFL predictions are stored to calculate your season record and display your standing in leagues you participate in.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To display your personal season record (wins, losses, accuracy)
• To show your picks and ranking within private leagues you have joined
• To sync game results across your devices in real time
• To provide the core app functionality

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

3. Data Storage & Third-Party Services

Fourth Down uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication (Google): Provides anonymous sign-in. No personal credentials are stored. Firebase Privacy Policy →

• Firebase Remote Config (Google): Used to manage in-app promotional content without app updates. No personal data is transmitted.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your display name and pick results are visible to other members of any private league you choose to join. You control which leagues you join.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for the duration of the NFL season (September to February) and for as long as you use the app. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

6. Children's Privacy

Fourth Down is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app contains no gambling features, no real money transactions, and no adult content.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting the app

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
